Evolution X upgade

    If i wanted to upgrade to a newer version of evolution x, would i just make another iso disc? or is there something else that i would have to do? thanks

    i would delete the original evox files then go back and put the new ones on using a boot disk and ftp connection

    All you really need to do is download version 3935 from
    http://www.x-b-o-x.net/modules/mydownloads/viewcat.php?cid=1
    scroll down the page until you find it. Download after registering (free), FTP from computer to xbox and tranfer those files over to replace the old ones. Restart the xbox and there you have it. SIMPLE!

    ok i got the upgraded evox installed. My question is this: isn't there suppose to be a menu option "lock/unlock hard drive" ? I have a new drive i would like to install and i know that i need that option.

    i was just lokin at the evox ini and i see the lock and unlock options in the .ini file but when i boot my xbox i dont see them in the menu

    You need to edit the evox.ini file. There should be a "#" sign in front of the lock HDD and unlock hdd. Delete the "#" sign in front of the commands and save it, then ftp the edited evox.ini back to your xbox. Reboot and it will show up.
