You can get the EvoX Bios and Dash board off the file-sharing program "Shareaza". But be worned some of the bios and Dash boards don't work. If your Eject/Reset button flashes green and orange it means you got a bad bio image and must reflash.

Man... I am confused!!! Now i have located both the current xecuter 4977 file along with the evox 3752 file!! Now here is the obvious question but hey I need to make sure. Now the xecuter is the bio that is flashed to the mod chip, and shows up on the splash screen under the X-box sign inplace of the microsoft name correct? And the evox program is the new dashboard correct that allows you to see the contents on the new hard drive such as the multiple drives ie. C,D,E,F,Y,Z along with application files right? well i bought my mod chip from the console corner and the bios that comes with it is cromwell. Does this Bio offer more options and better to use than the evox bios?

burger if you cared to read a little you would have found the answers to all your questions on this very page!

Anyway, in resume - xecuter bios build 4977 replaces your cromwell bios and allows your mod chip to function in a half useful manner. This can be updated via a cd or a programmer. If you are updating via cd, burn the bios.bin file to cd along with a few other random files (the xbox has trouble reading single small files) and just switch your mod chip to enable. Put the cd in and away you go.

Evo X is a new dash program that is usually downloaded in iso form...now, the process is too long for me to bother with explaining all here so search down this forum for my answer to someone else and it tells you what to do there OK

got another questions for you though carlos, when burning the EVOX OS to CD_RW can you use any CD creator program, I have Roxios' adaptec, will this work? I have seen everyone talking about using the NERO program.

You can burn an iso image using virtually any cd writing program.

The end result is no different when burning an image.

*.rar is just a compression type. you just need the right program to extract it. i use winace but there are many available.. like winrar and rarextracter... you can find a winace 30 day demo at tucows.com

I already have the x24977 bios flashed on my chip. I only need the evox dashboard. Where can I find it? I already downloaded one but the file was corrupt.
