Hi, my evox and other dashboards won't recognise my new large hdd (I don't know how loarge) taken out from my computer. Everything's working fine, but I'm only able to use like 8 or 10 gb of storage. Help

Maybe the harddrive you pulled out of your computer is only
8-10 gigs. If you look at the sticker on top of the hard drive they usually state how big the drive is. If the drive is bigger check the partitions. If all the partitions add up to 8 gigs or 10 gigs the reformat. I used slayer auto install it works great. Hope this helps.

if your new hard drive is large enough to use a F drive, you have to format the F drive and make sure it's enabled in your dashboard for it to show up. Same thing goes with the G drive, except the G drive requires a bios that will support it. Otherwise you're limited to 137gig or less.

And yeah, maybe your hard drive is only a 10gigger.....who knows.
