I have just installed my hard drive into my pvr but when i record i can only view about 6 other channels and EPG doesnt work. Do you have to use a specific HD? or do you need to re tune once HD installed, please help?
You can only watch channels on the same transponder that you are recording on, EPG should be working, have your tried rebooting the box to see if it brings it back.
Thanks for that sorry to be a pain but when you say the same transponder what do you mean? When i rec should i not be able to watch other channels? Is there anything i need to do in the menu??
In each transponder you have so many channels, eg freq 131.00 for my area holds Adult preview, Diva TV, Filmflex, On demand, Virgin central, VTV music on demand, I could record say Filmflex and watch one of the others on this freqs only. Hope this explains it for you.
