I've just got one (EX5100) with hard drive
I've found when recording or using PVR it is locked onto that channel
and you cannot access any other channel or anything else.
A TV engineer has told me you need to have two input cables like the Sky box+
    Any ideas or suggestions
    ta

the box is a single tuner, so you record what ya watch, if you want to watch sumtin else while its recording, ya cant use the box, all single tuner PVR boxs are the same unless its on the same freq or TP.

there was a Starview dual tuner which was a useful as a sunroof on a submarine, constant issues with it firmware wise etc, but the PVRS now are single tuner, yer better off connecting to a DVD recorder. The onny good thing they are good for is watching a match and pausing it etc or recording something and then using your normal cable in the TV to watch sumtin on terrestial chans.
