    Hi all,

I am trying to create a DVD on my hard disk which exceeds 8.7GB with TMPGenc and/or Ulead. The movie I am making is 2 hours downloaded from the Video Camera, but the size produced is large about 12GB. I wanted to create the DVD volume on my hard disc and then shrink it with DVDShrink, but the problem is that TMPGenc and Ulead crash during the create process saying it exceeds the the DVD volume size.

Alternatively I could try and reduce the MPG size, but haven't worked out how that is done and if there is software that can do it...that is at a reasonable price.

    Any suggestions....

    Thanks folks.

To reduce the size, you must re-encode at a lower bitrate.
Any good encoder will do this.
You could try authoring in DVDLab Pro.

you may have to consider holding off and then try bluray .The size isnt an issue with bluray just the price at the moment!!!!! or do as
