Expired Photo CD ?

    Hi , does anyone know how to retrieve data of a cd-r which had an expire date built in ? Its a slideshow of photos ive tried isobuster and badcopy pro ,none of which work ... any input wud be just great , thanks .

    Try resetting the date/time on your computer to one before the expire date. Might work. Maybe if the disk has already been opened after the expire date has past it might be too late.

    I would not know of any other idea to try. Have never seen a cd-r with this mechanism built in.

    Yeh I was too late on the time factor , it was a disc from a photograher who had some sort of program built in to make it expire from a certain date , which it did ,lol so it wont open now , just thought there must be sum sort of prog out there...

    Try, making a copy of it, using it on a different computer. If you're really desperate, try reformatting your computer (IN NO WAY IS THIS RECOMMENDED), then try it.

    thanks , but the cds trial period has expired ,, deffo not gonna get that back unless i can find out how they make them expire and if there is something to decrypt it as such :) i made a copy of it anyhow but it too is expired ,,, hate letting things beat me ,lol cheers
