Exploding Xbox HELP!!!!!

    Okay, i just re-softmodded my xbox and i went upstairs to get my ethernet cable so i could ftp it and i heard a very brief pop and my xbox shut off, now i cant turn it on. could you help in any way with what might have happened? and do i need another power supply or what
