Okey I'm having a strange problem with explorer.exe. I try to start my computer but it freezes to the point where there is windows logo and the green bar going from side to side. Okey I re-started windows in safemode and it start's ok, but then explorer.exe shuts down itself. I can get it running by run command and it start's itself, and about 1-2 minutes it shuts itself again. I've tried to check the comp from viruses but nothing. if you got any suggestions before I format this crap i'd be very grateful -Oddin
mmm i used to get really pieeved at my comp when explorer used to crash on me, then i gave up and did a system restore, personally i have no idea how to fix this. even to this day still dont know how to fix properly
if you can use msconfig you can see what services or programs are starting up with XP an trouble shoot from there. but if it is shuting down in safe mode you may want to back everything up and start fresh.
