Hello, I'm having some trouble keeping explorer.exe open. WHen i restart my computer i get an error saying WE has encounteread and error and needs to close. click ok etc... i then pull up task manager attempt to run explorer.exe and it will open. i still dont start menu or desktop icons but then recieve the same message... We has encountered... i just install sp2... finally. ANY help is appreciated greatly... thanks
Disable any right click menu plugins like Winzip, Winrar....or other new options you may have added...and start there. Of course, run it thru the ringer to find if there's any spy/adware causing the issues.
Yep. Though I have never had any issues with either of those programs, you might want to check into any other program that adds an extension to the explorer shell for the right click menu.
