When I export an edited video file to tape, I always get one glitch (i.e., one second delay at some point in the tape) in a one-hour video. This happens regardless of the video editor or the camcorder. I have discovered that it happens hourly, within the second. Therefore, I have surmised that something is running in the background that is pulsing the system hourly. Accordingly, I have disabled the internet, the virus protector, the automatic software updaters, and the startup routines. These actions have not solved the problem. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
