my external hdd has worked forever, suddenly i turned it on today and it didnt show in my computer. although it shows up in device manager and the computer recognises usb to ide is plugged into a usb port. NOW does anyone know how i can get it to show in my computer??
HI. ok first try to test it on another computer since is usb drive it is plug and play so if you get the same in another computer it means the problem is the drive not your pc or windows and also try to plugged on a different usb port. if still dont work them we concentrated on the drive!
