Ok here's the story. I have been trying all day to mount 1 ext3 partition in mac os x, and I have tried all the software available that I have heard about, ExtFs, MacFUSE, etc. I tried to mount it in MacFUSE, and it showed up with an error and something about using disk utility to repair it... Since my disc drive is broken I opened up the disc utility in OSX and clicked repair disk for the ext3 partition. It finished and then the system crashed. After I rebooted it, it finally let me see the ext3 partition in mac osx, but it popped up a message saying something along the lines of "This partition has made temporarily available, back up soon, etc". For some reason the partition is read only.
Please, any help would be appreciated!

It seems as though this forum doesn't get many views.
