I just got an external DVD+R writable drive and connected it to my pc, and installed proper software. I have an iso image I am trying to burn but I keep getting an error saying "cannot format medium, unsupported medium write speed" it also says "i/o error". The drives writes at 2 and 2.4. The disc I am using is a Sony DVD+R that can be written at 1x-16x. I am new to this, is there something I need to do to my pc for this to work?
Could my problem be that it is a DVD+R Rewritable drive the the discs are recordable and do not say rewritable on package?
