external DVD Read/Write

    I just bought a new Dell laptop, that didn't include a DVD writer.
    None of the DVD writers I've looked at mention WIN10 compatibility.
    Will they work with WIN10?
    Example is the LG SP80NB60.

    will have to use 3rd party burning programs like cdburnerxp or imgburn to burn cd & dvd. also have to use 3rd party playing programs like vlc, classic media player & others to play cd & dvd audio & movies.
