external dvd rw question

    My brother has a comp that is lower than 1 gig, do you think it will be small to use an external DVDRW?? Thanks in advance

    Really depends on how much less then 1gig you are talking about, how much memory you have and what you plan to use the external DVDRom for.
    Just to move data around it should be fine.
    To view movies might give you some grief but if it does then shutting down any and all unnecessary programs might resolve that issue.

    I don't really know how much he has, we don't talk unless he needs help. Think I'll judt tell him yes so he has to waste money. Thanks for hrlp
