since the new dashboard has come out there is a feature that lets you rip your games to your harddrive. is there a way that i can plug a external hardrive in and it will pick it up as the master xbox harddrive so i can rip games to it. basically what i want to do is replace my old xbox harddrive with an external one ?is this possable?.. if there is a way of doing this please let me know. thanks
well is there anyway i can Modify my xbox hard drive with a new one.. i only have experance in original xbox modding so idk
bd-- i imagine the normal guy is working on it. steve-- you can put in a 120 gig drive, but it has to be a certain one, and you have to use some MS files, just google it and youll find it.
As long as were on the subject, with the new dashboard how exactly do you copy games to the hard drive? I do not see the option to do so anywhere? I been searching google for allmost a hour now and can find everyone discussing it. But no one says how you actually do it. By the way the game I have been trying to copy to the harddrive is halo2
LOL, never mind soon as I posted that question I started thinking and figured I should try a 360 game. And I see the option to copy it. So I guess it dont work with original xbox games just ones made for the 360.
so i can only use a max of 120 gig? and should i just buy a new hard drive and save all the trouble or make one because i have the ability to make one i just wanted more than 120 gigs lmao
There hasn't even been a mention of a 1.5fw, so what and the heck are you talking about? And I highly doubt it that the NXE will be hacked, just like the original dash. The modding scene has been lazy lately, and to be honest I don't think they're even capable anymore.
you havent been reading to much if you havent seen any talk of this. perhaps you should open your eyes and read some. since theres been several threads on here, and at xbox-scene.
So what exactly did you contribute to the scene fgamer it sounds to me like your pretty lazy yourself.Until you actually contribute something then you can voice your opinion about the scene.
yes you did, i told you to google for the hard drive swap. if you would have done that you would have found an excellent guide telling how to do this and what can and cannot be done.
