My freecomexternal harddrive appears dead its clicking and not recognised in windows its got every thing on it such as pictures etc can i conect the drive direct to pc or smet looking at it i ant a clue if its possible it slides on to a socket thing in the case
Yes but pin it as a slave drive first. Look up the installation specs or post the harddrive detail so someone else can for you.
samsung hd501lj is the drive inside it as one saa coectop but not sure what the power connector is asnever seen one like it before its like a sata but longer
oh crap po la ya scuzzi connectors suck you'll need a PCI scuzzi board insyalled into your main board .. try to ebay one or ebay a scuzzi connector enclosure
