I woke up today, turn on my computer and external hard drive and the hard drive began to make strange noises that sound like bzz bzz bzz and thats it. The strange thing is that this happened over night and it worked fine yesterday. oh and nothing happened to the hard drive it didnt fell down or anything like that. if there is anyone here that had this problem or knows what to do please tell me. thanks
I take it the drive does not read anymore either? Its probably failed if its making noises, just unlucky i guss! Is it still under warranty?.. : )
You would need to send it to the manufacturer for repair or replacment if it still under warranty.... Unfortinatly its nothing you could do... Did you have backups of your data on CD or DVDs?
