Switch off my PC of along with my external hard-drive, today, ive put it on, but my machine isn't picking up the drive(external) the power light is on, its making a 'click'..... unplug ex and boot up computer fully plug in ex but making sure all is on (power & switch) if still no results ---> try the ex on another computer if still no results ---> remove hard drive from enclosure and install it as a slave drive directly into your computer (remember to pin it as slave). if still no results ---> it wasnt the circuit board in the enclosure that failed it was the hard drive...pay lots of $ for recovery by specialist or have a funeral for it good luck
