external hard drive

    I just formatted a external hard drive on my com... but it does not work on my sis's com ... wats wrg??

    Here is the information:
    External Hard Drive: Samsung 2.5" 160gb SATA/5400rpm/8mb
    External Casing: Sunplus SATA2USB

    My PC Infor:
    Windows XP Sp2

    The external hard drive Works on my PC but not on my sis's wondering if i formatted the drive on my PC then it will only work on my PC ?

    should work on any computer including macs as mine does. what operating system does she have & have you tried all of her usb ports?

    Thanks, its working fine now. It happens to be one of her usb port spoiled.
