Hi. I use a dell xps laptop. I have a lot of music 30gb+, that I use constantly because I have a stero system that's always on. I currently use lacie 500gb ext. hd., but it freezes (power must be reset). I bought a 200gb internal and am planning to put it in an enclosue. Will the same problem exist or will it work fine if I copy all of the music onto it and use it constantly. Thanks

thanks for the reply. Alot of people told me to check fan first to see if it over heats, but it couldn't be that problem becuase even if it was on for 10min. it sometimes freezes, not all the time though. I checkted to feel the air from the fan but their was none. So I opended it up and their was no fan, does this type of drive have a diff. cooling system that I'm not aware of? It was actually 2 250gb hd's connected to a chip. Also if anyone knew cheaper, but quality enclosures I found many for under $10. Thanks alot.
