external HD as an internal

    i just got a standard 360 w/o the harddrive. and i remember seeing an accessory that'll allow you to hook up an IDE harddrive thru the usb port, and it'll recognize it as a flash drive (very large flash drive).

    what i was wondering is, can i use the external drive/pen drives for saves and downloads from xbl.
