I have a 500 gig Seagate Free Agent USB 2.0 hard drive. I have plugged the hard drive into the xbox usb port but the xbox does not recognize it in the menu. Can someone please tell me how I can make the xbox recognize my external hard drive?
with the HD hooked up to your computer. open up 'my computer' right click on the drive, hit format. it will bring up a box. in the drop down box, hit fat32. then format. it will erase all your stuff from the drive, so make sure if there is anything on it that you move it elsewhere *onto your computer* unless you dont care if you lose it.
