external hdd

    i was wondering if somebody could me pickout a external hdd? i really dont know what to look for other than how big. what would be a good kind. looking for usb2.0 connection around 200-250gb. kind of i n th 85-150 price range if thats not to cheap for a reliable one. thanks

    If you can also use Firewire, then you get a device that supports both, as if one of the interface conversions fails, you will still be able to use the remaining media type to connect to it from the PC.
    FWire is also quicker than USB 2.0 in transfers (this is in contrary to the actual interface speeds).

    P.S. You haven't stated your currency, so I didn't bother looking at a UK model in case you are elsewhere!
