Hey everyone, can anyone tell me the difference between a ministation and a drivestation as far as external HDs. Also can anyone recommend any good brands or are there any I should stay away from.

    Thanks

They're probably just product buzzwords that mean very little. As for an external hard drive, the best option is always to buy an internal hard drive and get your own enclosure, it typically works out much better that way. Plus, you have the option of bunging the drive in your PC and/or putting a different drive in the enclosure. I recommend the use of Western Digital Caviar SE16 drives and IcyBox IB-351 enclosures.
