Hi, I have a bunch of "video postcards" captured with an Intel pc camera that I received via email. Each file is an executable; it opens "Intel Video Email Player" and the video plays with in this application. Does anyone know if it's possible to extract the video from this file? I think the video is somehow an avi, encoded with an Indeo codec, only because that's what the Intel software made when it produced raw video files. Apparently when the person who sent this to me made it, he had the option of giving me the option of extracting the video from the Intel Video Email Player; but he neglected to select this option. I'm guessing I'm out of luck, but just thought I'd ask... Thanks, David
Well if the EXE is simply a self extracting archive then you could use something like "Winrar" to extract the Content from the EXE file but that is about all I can think of right now .... Cheers
Thanks... the files are not archives of any kind, though, they're applications. Each file is a video postcard viewer application. Opening one of the files opens an application that allows you to play the video. I just want to get the videos into some normal format, like avi or mpeg2. David
