Once I have downloaded AVI files the sound and pictire is 100 %. When I extract these files using Nero 6 the sound quality is very quiet and the dubbing is out.

Some files are OK and some are not

    Hope someone can help

I am using Nero VisionExpress 2.

I have to extract the AVI file and save it in my exported file so it can be burnt onto a DVD so it will play on my DVD player.

If I burn the AVI file straight onto a DVD then it will not work on my DVD player.

Ok, i think you mean encode or transcode and not "extract". Please use the guide in my sig for using Nero and tell me the results ;)

    Thanks

I have read through your instructions and it is more or less the same for Nreo 6.

Once I have downloaded the AVI file into My Video's the sound and dubbing is normal. It is when I export the file into my Nerovision file ready to burn is when the sound is quite and dubbing is out.

I download the series Lost. Episode 21 is has low sound but Episode 23 is perfect. I can not see any reason for this, They are downloaded from the same site and have the same file name, It is only when I have exported or burnt them on a DVD I get the issues. If I watch them on my PC after down loading them all is Ok, It is only when I have exported them and not all the time.

I exported Madagasca and burnt it............Great

I exported Bambi 2 and burnt it.........Picture quality 100% but sound very quite, have to have my TV turned up to Max

Am I missing something, Nero Help/Support is no good.
