Your trying to mess with ADX files right, just use cubemediaplayer http://www.cubemediaplayer.com .I would suggest learning LBA tables also, but it is more complicated to learn for alot of users. You will run into files that are SoftDec video files and the ADX files are sound. You have to register the program though to extract the sound from games, but it is alot easier. If you want to extract sound from PS2 video files, you can use TMPGenc also. The most common sound file you will see is ADX in PS2 games.A couple other file formats in PS2 games are PSS,ADX,SFD etc...it keeps going on to encoded video formats from Square-Enix an so forth (they are really annoying and I wouldn't advise anyone messing with them unless they know what they are doing). If you need help let me know, some files are encoded with there own modules with TMPGenc that are harder to deal with.

L-Burna, Ofnir and others; couple of questions for you dealing with video files etc:

Question #1 - I am interested in MPC files and the ability to downsample them. I have done a bit of checking around and it seems they are most commonly a sound file. However, I have several games (Tiger Woods '05 and '06) that use them for video as well. I want to be able to downsample these and others like them in order to fit more games on my h.d.d. I have done this already for my games that have PSS, BIK and SFD files and I am pleased with the results (though the BIK files take forever to process). Can you provide any useful info (programs, links, etc) that may help?

Question #2 - I am interested in the process used to extract/rebuild files from games with "big" files in them. I have grabbed many kits and programs from alucard and I have no trouble using the kits developed for specific games. However, I do not know how to operate the programs that are out there that allow one to grab the LBA from an archive and then use that to extract/rebuild files from archives. I have many games that extract/rebuild kits do not seem to exist for and I would love to be able to get into them. Any help with tutorial locations or websites that offer advice/how to would be welcomed.

    Many thanks...

Actually my bad I was just guessing, but now that I have the game they are .afs files, but since this is a EA game you will have to extract from the .BIG files.I will take a look at it real soon, and see if I can create a tool for it or something alright bro.It will take some time though,so I can't really tell you how long it will take.

    Thanks L-Burna.

I'll search around for tools, if there are any, for .bnk files in a bit.
