hi, please bear with me for this, there is a pimp my ride where this guy gets a big giant bass put in the back of his car and a warning light comes on when it gets too extreme, they said it was custom made, but i want 1 because i love bass (if you listen to candy shop through earphones and press the earphones against you eardrum you hear a nice bass, but i like lower than that, i like it so low that your voice sounds as if you are recording yourself talking through a fan then slowing it down. anyways, my point is, does any1 know where 2 get some thing like this and how much it would cost.

If for a car get a 15" sub, And a kick ass amp. For cars thats all i can say, but for home, 2 words, Cerwin-Vega! I have a pair of CLSC-12 and they make so much bass that its like getting punched in the face. I recomend them for car stuff aswell, check out their web site...

Yes, it was the MTX Jackhammer, and no the speaker itself is not custom. It was the fact that the thing was so big and had to be custom fitted, and required like 20 car batteries that made it custom. It was the first time they were able to fit it in a car. That thing is so redicuous that you would have to pay like a gazillion dollars to put one in your car. Here is the website for the Jackhammer:

i'll wait till i'm older and rich before i get it, i'll get that thing done with the walls, you get a speaker mounted in every corner and it turns your whole wall into a speaker and then get a jackhammer in the centre of every wall, then blow the f*ck out my ears

it wouldn't be the ear drum as such, but the three little bones in the inner ear that would shatter. It would be worth it though, just do it before you die.

I've got all worked up about bass now, maybe alter my sig around it

hello...Iam a audio expert...that MTX Jackhammer was a piece of sh***, try the JL audio W7, top of the line subwoofer, that thing is thee best, woulkd cost around 600 bucks, retail 1100 bucks, one JL audio W7 would knock then that MTX jackhammer junk, ALWAYS BELIEVE IN JL AUDIO (Need a expennsive car amp with that W7)

JL is very good. I'd still prefer a Solo Kicker or some PG's though. I don't really care for super-hard bass, just a solid, clean sounding base that doesn't distort when a song with a stronger bass comes on.
