EZ flash

    hey, i have a r4 and its working great. but i have a friend and he is planning on buying a EZ flash from dealextreme.com (thats where i got my r4). and i have no clue about it. so i was wondering if anybody knows the pros and cons of the EZ flash. why my friend shuold and shouldnt get it, and how it is compared to others like m3 G6 and r4.

    I assume your referring to the EZFlash V ? If so, i would not recommend it, I have one and compared to the R4 or G6R it is utter rubbish. It will play games, but even with my fast MicroSD it has problems/lag in some games (unless you patch, which shouldn't be needed for slot-1 cards), it requires you to manually set the card speed for most MicroSDs, it lacks features, requires you to manually select the save type or constantly update a save game list, homebrew support is not great and to top it off it has poor build quality.

    Even something such as the n-card/fire card on dealextreme would be better choice than the EZFlash.

    It's a shame really as the EZFlash teams slot-2 and GBA devices are really good, it's just they screwed up on their slot-1 card :-(

    if some games do have problems, how would i patch it up?
