It looks like Winsunx is taking orders for this now. Does anyone know if this will be compatible with Divineo's Passcard?

There's one drawback with this card. The message boards out there are saying it uses miniSD. That's not the case. It uses microSD. The max memory available in the microSD format is 1 gig. Win miniSD, you can get double the storage for the same card cost, or less.

I'm waiting to see if a similar a MicroSD version comes out by a competitor. For MP3's and movies, 1 gig is just not big enough.

So does this thing require a "passkey" thing like the others i have seen or can u just put the movies/music/games on the sd card with the included reader and be done? Also does the usb card reader thing require any software to move the files to the sd card?.peace.

This looks like a great piece of kit; I'll have to get one to go with my new DS Lite! Does anyone know if anything has to be done to clean ROMs before they can be used with this? On my Supercard miniSD they just have to be patched using the Supercard patcher (so all the software is included). Is there a similar patching process for the EZ4 Lite, or does it have its own software for this, or can it run clean ROM dumps?

    Thanks guys.

I ordered one of these as well as a EZIV lite and SuperKey from WINSUNX and they should be here next week.

I'll be using a SuperKey with the DS Lite and FlashMe with the DS. As for the SD cards, they'll be a 512MB Kingston microSD and a 1GB Ritek miniSD.

I'll let you guys know how it goes.

    oooooh man thats so nice!

should I wait for a lite flash reader? my DS black is comming to me on Friday and I was about to order an M3 with Passkey II. Will this reader stick out A LOT in my lite? (pics anyone???)

If so should I just wait or do you guys think M3 will release an M3 Lite answer....or is this new slimmer technology plus smaller flash cards gonna cost me a bomb? (im paying about £70 all together for an adaptor and 1gb SD card)

    thanks guys

I think the main issue will be that this one doesn't support miniSD. You have to get MicroSD. It's much more expensive and the largest size you can get is 1mb. If you're playing MP3's/Movies on it, that's just not enough room.

I you don't mind it sticking out 1cm, then the miniSD cards (M3, Supercard) are probably a good midway point for the time being between functionality and cost vs. asthetics. If style is the primary issue, cost (for memory cards) isn't part of the equation and you don't mind swapping cards more frequently, then this one would be better.

I'm sure everyone has their own opinion.
    :)

I already have an iPod Video and my brother has a Creative Zen Vision M, so we aren't even going to bother with videos and music on our EZIV Lites. 512 megabytes is more than enough for DS back ups.

Is there any difference between the Lite-TF and the normal Lite, aside from physical and removeable media differences? I'm planning on buying a non-TF version from Winsunx (the GBA cart-sized one) and a 1GB kingston miniSD card, and I don't want to feel like I'm making a bad choice.

Have you looked into what it takes to actually make a purchase from WinSunx? It's complicated. They want an e-mail to be sent with the credit card info. It's just more than I trust.

You can get the same item from www.kicktrading.ca. They have the EZ Flash 4 on sale right now. Yeah, it's more expensive. But they use Paypal, so your credit card info is a lot more secure than some big black hole in Asia where who knows who'll have access to your card info.

You read wrong about Winsunx then.

They only accept Western Union, Paypal, and if you live in China, they'll let you do a direct bank transfer.

I used Paypal to make my payments, and it was no trouble at all. Also, the total time it took for me to receive my order from them came out to 8 days. That's how long it took from the day I ordered to the day I received it here in Florida.

Also, while I love Kicktrading, they're almost always on back-order and the prices are a lot higher than Winsunx.

As for your question Cymoro, yes, the only difference is physical. Other than that, they're basically the same thing.

Yeah, I've decided to go with KickTrading after all. Dealing with Winsunx is too much of a hassle. Thanks for the warning anyway.
