F.E.A.R Issues PLZZZ HELP

    hi im having a weird issue with this game it keeps rebootin my pc after a few mins of play and ive been playin COD2, star wars empires at war, Fable and Quake 4 on my pc lately my specs are

    Amd AThlon 2500 xp+ running at 1833
    1 gig of 3200 DDR Ram
    and a 128 mb ATI Radeon 9600SE

    ive tryed updating the game but it dont ever update it its says its the wrong version so it aborts the update... any help would be appriated cus i really wanna play this game

    and i know quake 4 shudt run smoothly on my pc but it does for sum reasons lol but fear dont so im really confused..

    i havent updated the drivers cus for sum reason it always screws up my card but any help would be appriated many thanks

    solution:
    Get a better card, it keept doing that on half-life 2, you need a 9600 or more of any type of card to actually stop that prob.
    Scratch that: hmm, did you get the latest service pack?

    hey well i had to reformt my pc cus sum ******* hacked me so i had to start again lol ive put service pack 2 on but its slowin my pc down but im gunna try again i know the 9600 aint a great card but its better my old tnt2 lol

    *shrugs* yeah i have a 4200, and fear works fine on my pc, i haver service pack 3 runs slow but speeds up game...

    resifreak it doesnt sound like a issue with your videocard. a slow videocard would most likely just have bad performance. i would say check your powersupply/possibly get a larger one if needed. If thats not it check your specs against the minimum ones needed to play.

    well according to the box it needs a 1.7 gig 256 meg ram and a 64 meg GCard and i have all that and it supports my card and i was playin quake 4 yesterday and thats needs a 2 gig miniumum :S so who knows

    But what about the PSU? how many amps is you card drawing off it? how many amps is your power supply rated at?
