I usually have good results w/ nero. I have oem version and nero 6 ultra edition. Reading through some of the other posts I already have dma enabled...guess I'll just load the error file and see what you all come up with. Thank you Gwendolin, I am in the process of doing all that you suggest. The clean tools/reg checker found and corrected some problems in my registry. I am downloading the nero links for the version you suggested; I'll let you know how it goes- oh I did have to uninstall the driver for acceptance of DMA! Thanks again!-michelle
