    Hello,
I bought and installed this drive with Nero 6 in July 2005 and it worked perfectly. But recently I bought 16X DVD-R discs from Memorex and process was failed (I use Shrink to create backup).
    Here is errorlog

First thing let's edit out that serial # - it's begins w/ 1A and is in the log 2x. Don't need someone else getting it!
Your Nero is a bit out of date. Update to these versions (package 1 and 2).
    http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe (package 1)
    http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe (package 2)
Your drive can use a firmware update also - latest version is 3.05:
    http://www.de.nec.de/software/1926_FW_ND-3520A_win305.zip
Decent media - one of Memorex better manufacturers. I would aoid Memorex though and look for Verbatim or Made in Japan Fuji,Sony or Maxell.
I would also increase the burn speed - try 4x.
Roxio can conflict w/ Nero - uninstall it and run the roxio zapper.

Many thanks. My Nero is OEM Suite. Could it somehow affect any upgrades?

It shouldn't, I have the OEM as well and it upgraded fine. You have a license, so it be download and install. Simple.

Edit your first post and take our your Nero Serial number like blinkie suggested.

    Cheers.

    @mzektser
When you open Smart Start on the left under applications you should see Nero Burning rom. Did you upgrade to the 6.6.0.18 version?

Did you install package 1 and package 2? Kinda odd why burning rom isn't there. Did you have it before?

You can try updating package 2 from link above but doubt this will add burning rom since it's in package 1.
Really strange that your oem version will give you NeroVision and Recode but not burning rom. Normally you just get package 1 and nothing from package 2.
Depending on what you want to you can use Express or Nero Vision. One thing about Nero is there is usual a few apps in it that will do the same thing.

Yes Recode will on non copy protected dvd's. Same developer for Shrink and Recode - both very similar.
To do copy protected dvd's with Recode you can run AnyDVD in the background to remove the copy protection. Or rip the files to your hard drive w/ something like DVDFab Decrypter then process thru Recode.
Since Shrink is no longer updated it's best to have AnyDVD or a free app like DVDFab Decrypter to handle what it can't.
Now since you don't have burning rom Shrink won't auto burn w/ Nero. So you can either open the files in Nero express and burn. Or download DVD Decrypter (free)which Shrink will also autoburn with.
