i recently tried using dvdx platinum to back up dvds. the read process ran fine but when i put in the blank disc to burn it goes staight to finalizing the dvd-r. i have reconfigured my windows according to the guides online but i still have no luck. i have also tried to update my firmware but i cannot get a download online. i'm an idiot in despare. please, help.
So many people have had problems with dvdx platinum they dont even update the program anymore and the company is no longer even around that I know of. My sugestion is to scrap the dvdx platinum (uninstall it) and download free programs like DVD Decrypter and DVD shrink which you can get for free at the top of this forum under the Software Tab. Anything would be better then dvdx platinum.
