Hello all, have a strange issue that has been going on for about a week or so. Not sure if this issue should go in the DVD Shrink or Clone DVD2 sections but seems to be burner related so.... Have a NEC ND 3540A, When attempting to burn the ISO's to the dvd. I receive Burn errors in Shrink and Clone DVD2 seems to burn (goes thru the complete process) but it actually didnt. So I try the proccess again and when I reinsert the blank dvd I get another message that tells me to insert a blank DVD. ok that is when the red flag came up. I insert another blank media and get same result. So I might have answered my own question, but you all think it the drive that is bad or media? I have swapped from using DVD +R to DVD -R. Any help or suggestions would be grand.

What media do you use? What make...

Also this is the latest firmware for your drive... do you have it?

http://liggydee.cdfreaks.com/page/3540/ -- you want the [bold]original[/bold] firmware that is [bold]2nd from top[/bold] of the list.

    Get back to me :)

Ah ok so firmware is fine and great media :D

Try going to hardware manager and uninstalling your drive, then reboot and windows will auot install your drive as "new hardware" and then try.

    Get back to me.
