Hi liolio 1st let's edit out that serial # - don't need someone else using it. it begins w/ 1A and is here in the log [20:47:01] DVDEngine 1A23 May need a firmware update for your drive. You log only shows this: Media type: DVD+R. Usually you'll also see the manufacturer info if the disc is recognized by the drive. What brand of discs are you using? Update your firmware to JSO4 ....... you have ES04. and a Key Medium Error ...... get better media..... the drive doesn't like your disk! Also couldn't communicate to the drive to burn the disk........ check your USB cables and make sure your system is seeing your drive correctly. Wires come loose sometimes. two different versions of Nero? how did that happen... maybe and update went bad? if all else fails save your serial # and uninstall, use Nero 6 cleaning tools (http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/en/Clean_Tools.html), do a registry clean, defrag your drive, reboot and then reinstall your Nero! hope that helps. good luck.
