so i have this mem stick which i believe to be fake cuz of abysmal write speeds and i bought it off ebay for $20 2 years ago. when i format it, windows explorer says no corruption but when i load the games thing in the xmb there are hundereds of corrupt files. mind u that i can play my HB cuz its at the bottom but i was wondering if there's a fix for that

Assuming you are running custom firmware.

Power down the PSP (fully not sleep)
Power up holding the right shoulder button to access the recovery menu.
    Select Configuration.
    Enable "Hide corrupt icons"
    Go Back and Exit.

that happened to me quite a few months ago where any and everything got corrupted but then i found out that it works now so i think that if u want to use that card again just give it some cooldown time
