Fake Paypal email

    I just got this email telling me to log on and tell them all my info or my account will be shut down. These frauders are so stupid these days. The website you have to click on is even more rediculous. You can't click on anything except for the login info section. Anyway here is the email:


    Subject: * PayPal Notification * -----these stupid little stars gave it away before I even opened the email
    Date: Sun, 18 Dec 2005 07:50:26 -0800

    Dear PayPal Customer,

    Due to the alarming increase of internet based fraud targeting
    paypal customers we are forced to review our security measures.
    Therefore we have issued new security measures and we will ask
    for your cooperation in this matter. Upon completion of the
    form bellow, your account will be validated and access to it
    restored. Failure to do so may restrict temporarily or
    permanently access to it.

    Please follow the link below to login to our secure server and
    provide us the requested information.

    If your information is not updated in a timely manner, your
    account will be suspended without further notice. To avoid such
    incidents, please take your time and complete our survey. ---ok ill get right on letting you steal all my info

    Jasper I agree with you, but leaving the site link on their is considered spamming, so if I were you i'd take it off :)

    leave it on for others to see & if a spambot sees that address than that site will be hit with spam, might teach those idiots a lesson!

    Yea I forwarded the email to paypal so they shut it down.

    good than edit the link so nobody does something stupid.
