Does anyone know where to get this Bluray combo drive.......

It can read up to 12x which is the theoretical limit for bluray reading.

I tried the stores listed, the distributors and all the Canadian and American vendors with no luck.
I did find one merchant from Australia who had them on Ebay for 120 usd plus another 50 for shipping. That was a bit too much for me so I asked if he can ship another way but as you may know the cheaper services are slow and get lost, stolen and tossed around a whole lot so I went back not too long ago and he sold out I guess of all 10.

If anyone knows where to buy one or where to try, please let me know.Thank You

you could try the newegg website.im in australia and i could ring a computer store but blu ray drives are expensive here and then shipping it there would cost money and it could get damaged.

is this the one your looking at???

Don't think it writes to blu ray.

I looked at newegg already and they dont have it yet.The one I'm looking for writes at 12x and is shown in my link. It's a combo drive as well, which means it can read and write to regular dvd's and cd's but just read/rip at 12x bluray and I think 8x bluray DL.Are most bluray movies dual layer? Hmm.

I'm sure I'll find it eventually.I have my pioneer BDK-205 BK in the meantime.
    Thanks for your help
The one you linked to in ebay writes at 8X I do believe and is Model: SH-B083A
