I recently downloaded a video clip that was saved on my pc in flv format.. Im using this dvd creator software to try to burn it on a dvd.. Well the problem that im having is that its taking too long to convert to vob. Is there a way that it would be saved on my pc in vob extension so i can burn it quickly??

Well, that all depends on what you're starting with, what you're going to, what you're using to go, and what your computer can do.

The conversion process will almost always take a while, unless your video is extremely short or you have an extremely powerful computer.

Anyway, what are you using to convert?

Im using a program called ultimate dvd creator. Im just wondering if when i download the file if i can just change the extension to vob so i can just burn it. But it seems like it always downloads as flv. Im just wondering cuz the conversion process takes forever. Thanks.

Yeah, you won't be able to just change the extension, because they're just too different.

You could change the extension of an .mpg to .vob, since they're both basically the same thing, but not with .flv. Sorry to say, but what you're currently using is about the best you can get.

You might be able to reduce the time by reducing the quality of the DVD video, but I'm not sure how you can do that with what you're using.
