FAT32 and NTFS

    I read that FAT32 drive formatting limits file size to 4GB and with NTFS you can have files up to the limit of your hard drive. But how can you tell which formatting your drive has?

    don't want to seem negitive but you should really do a search of this forum before you ask questions like this...

    anyway, for a quick check of the file system format go to "my computer", then right click on the drive and choose properties from the menu. in the "general" tab it will list your file system.
