fatal system error cannot use online apps

    Ok heres my problem i can logon to my computer fine and my desktop works fine, but when i go to open up anything that uses the internet (example, firefox, AIm, bittorrent) i get the debub box and so and so program has encountered a problem and needs to close. Now yesterday i hit don't send and i got the Stop C00000021a fatal error twice. Now today i havnt got that once. Any help or more details let me know.

    Don't know what os you are using, if xp or similar, if you have admin tools installed check the event viewer. Look for red x's click on them, click the links send the event id to ms, and they might have and answer. If not xp, name the os, the specific programs that die, and might be able to help from there.

    hey nope now all my programs get that error need to shut down or debug. ahhh hope i dont have to wipe out my hardrive.

    Sound like it. Backup what you can. Xp is a lot more stable than 98. But when it starts to go, it's hard to stop. I had to reinstall last week, I uninstalled IE 7 Beta 2, it took something very important with it. Nothing I did could fix it. Sometimes it's better to wipe the slate clean and start over. Try to repair before reinstalling, but if you have sp2 and don't have the disk, it won't work. You'll have to uninstall sp2, and then nothing will work.
