Ok, to start things off i am zzombie and i would like to create my own software for hotswapping cuz i wish to make it easier for myself and others. I want to create a FatX explorer and auto patcher which will delete all the files on the HDD and then add an all new MSDASH file from which they find so i dont get in trouble. Now how would i create this FatX explorer? Like source codes and code snipplets would be very nice. Thank you in advance, Zzombie
I dont think there is any simple solution to HDD upgrading. The easiest I have used in my opinion is XboxHDM. Nothing easier than pluging in the old HDD and the new one, then cloning. Done deal in about 1 hour, simply plug in the new HDD and play! But if you really want to make an app anyway, google for the existing Fatx explorer program and build on to that one to improve it. Although making an app for hotswapping would be useless, since you need to have the new HDD ready and be able to swap in about 2.5 seconds for it to work. Just teach people the simplicities of softmodding if you really want to help people out. Or better yet, offer the service of modding to friends for a nice little fee. Sister dating, mom dating(??), cash etc...
