hello, first time poster. i have a questtion and i need some help. i've recently bought a evga 512mb 9600gt super clock. the card is working but i just have a minor issue with the card. i m not sure if i need to adjust certain setting to fix it. the card have 2 dvi output. if you are looking at the back of the pc, with the card inside the unit. the right port is giving me trouble. when window vista went to sleep and i wake the system up, the lcd screen would flicker. i pull the plug out and plug it back into the left output, then the flicker would stop and things on the lcd screen would be fine. however, when vista goes to sleep mode and i wake it up, again the screen would flicker. But after restarting window with the lcd plug into the left output, let it goes into sleep mode, and then wake it up from asleep. no flickering at all. so this problem occurs only with the right dvi output. the question is .. this is a faulty card or i have to do some setting some where to fix this problem? i thought it is ok to use any ouput. thanks in advance for the info. thank you... smoking
Sounds like a faulty DVI output. This would only add to the list of faulty EVGA cards I've heard about recently. I don't know what's going on with their Quality control, their cards used to be among the best.
