    Ok let's just say you bought a dvd or a game. You made copy of the dvd or the game you bought. But you lost it or it got stolen and you don't have any proof that you bought it.But you still have the back up that you made. Am i allow to keep that copy??? Will fbi say anything?

    as long u dont sell it and its for private and home use you will be okay.

    yes you are....why are you worried, do the FBI reguarly knock on your door or something? legally its your copy to keep, but unless you have the receipt it would be hard to prove. but don't worry, the feds have bigger fish to fry than worrying about a single copied movie

    If you don't have the orginal and the Feds knock on your door and find it your screwed!!!

    How can you prove previous ownership?

    i agree the feds do have bigger fish to fry, but they F*** around with people who have barely done anything, the truth is you cannot hold back over 200 million people from doing something this simple, what, are they going to send nearly 75% of the US to prison. and people get sued for downloading 2 or 3 songs illegally when there next door neighbor has over 200 gb of pirated material a has never been caught.
