hello ive been reading through all things on this site since christmas and still not a working ps2 backup i have a ricoh mp5125a r/rw and the full version of alcohol 120% and a chipped ps2 that i no plays backups ive followed all the instructions in the tutorials and when i made a backup it didnt work in my ps2 i got my recorder at christmas so im starting to get ennoyed plz help
What chip are you using? I would suggest using Prassi 2.0 as its very easy to do. Basically its just one click of a button and your a way. Its saves the image to your hard drive so you don't have to. Of course there is an option to do the longer version where you save the image yourself. But I've never used Alcohol 120% so I don't know what you could be doing wrong. Oh yeah and what game are you trying to backup?
Do you finalize your burn? Which modchip are you using? Magic 1 - 2 or 3, Messiah, etc. May have fake chip or bad install.
thats the thing i dont know what chip ive got cuz i got it done about 2 years ago by my dads friend and i never asked which one it was and i tryed to backup red faction 2 and tekken 4 with packard bell +r discs there is one thing in alcohol 120% where you can change the disc type but when i change it and go back in its put it back to normal do you no wether its meant to do that
