Hey people, feel free to post what you like or don't like about Firefox.

I'm thinking of switching from IE, just want some opinions.

    Thanks to all!

oops, I think I should have posted in All Other Topics, sorry.

    love tabbed browsing
    good variety of extensions/plugins

    Dislikes....
still a few compatibility issues with a very small number of sites...

    I LOVE FIREFOX....IF I COULD MARRY IT I WOULD!!!!!

    Forget IE...

    ....says it all

However, I haven't had any issues with any site that I have visited, but that is just me.

I also like the fact that the Mozilla crew is always improving upon it. It gets better and better with each release.

Although useful alternative, Firefox can have problems in displaying format, fonts, layouts etc. that have been optimized for IE.

    Otherwise good.

    True True

Don't think that will EVER happen...supposedly from an article that I read in Business Week, Microsoft isn't coming up with a new browser till Longhorn launches.

Sorry, don't think the general public is going to sit idly by and keep using a swiss cheese of a browser.

True, but I've run into it less and less with each new release which is why the frequency with which it's updated is such a good thing.
