Female to female modem cable in dublin

    Does anyone know where i can get a female to female rs232 null modem serial cable to help update my eurovox in Dublin? I tried Currys, Dixons & PC World with no luck

    any help would be great cheers

    Or even in Maplins in town, off Parnell St., or Peats on Parnell St. We've been through all of this in here before, but here goes again.

    Make sure you tell them you want a NULL MODEM cable. It looks exactly the same as an RS232 cable, but is wired differently inside. If you try to use an RS232, it won't work, and will have you tearing your hair out trying to fix something that simply will never work.

    Hey Sid, Maplins will charge you €55 for that lead Max Burns in Tallagh sell the lead for under €8 check out their website got mine there 2 weeks ago for the price quoted. Do yourself and everyone else a favour and dont pay that kink of money for a lead.lfc4me.
